Why are ceiling vents placed in the ceiling?
Ceiling vents are located in the ceiling for many different reasons. The main reason is the placement of were the air enters the room to allow efficient air movement. The ceiling placement of air conditioning vents also conceals the flexible ducting connecting to the vent. So the flexible ducting runs through your roof space.

The vent is called a t bar grill because it drops straight into a grid ceiling which is used in a lot of small commercial buildings like boutique shops. Fast food shops is another common use. Round ceiling diffusers are made of plastic and are available in 4 different sizes. The circular diffusers are mainly used for ducted reverse cycle air conditioning systems. In addition, the circular ceiling diffuser is also used in air transfer kits.

So HVAC diffusers come in many different shapes and sizes. HVAC diffuser made out of many different materials. Such as wood, plastic and metal. There are many different requirements for different shapes of HVAC vents. Such as a kitchen bulk head. For this application a Linear bar grill or linear slot diffusers. Comercial applications regularly use A HVAC T bar aluminium diffuser. The diffuser easily mounts in a t bar ceiling.
Installing a ceiling diffuser
There are many different ways to install a ceiling diffuser. As an example, a plastic air conditioning vent is installed by using 4 – 8 plastic air conditioning clips. In some cases, they are also held in by spring clips. When metal air conditioning vents are installed a metal clip and screw are generally used.
