Using a quality air conditioning products in your ducted air conditioning system is a must. Because there are several reasons for this.
Do not use low quality products
The first reason being poor quality products will fail quicker. As an example Air conditioning vents. So Plastic air conditioning vents need to be cleaned on a regular basis. With the cheaper quality products, the blades break or fall apart. I sell lots of replacement vents come in with broken blades.
Air conditioning vent clips
Is your air conditioning vent hanging down from the ceiling? The problem is you will have a broken plastic air conditioning vent clip. Because over time the plastic clip heats up and cools down. Dries out and the plastic clip goes brittle and just breaks. Before going in search of a clip take another one out without breaking it. Take the clip with or take a picture. There are many different clips out there.
Flexible Ducting – Products
Flexible ducting is an important part of ant ducted air conditioning system. We are now starting to see lots of low quality flexible ducting coming in from overseas. So choose your supplier wisely. Recently I have had quite a few customers come in to replace flexible ducting. The main reason being the outer sleeve has broken down. Therefore letting the insulation fall away from the flexible ducting. When this happens the duct needs replaced as it has lost all thermal qualities.
Motorised dampers
Reverse cycle ducted air conditioning system use motorised dampers for directing the conditioned air around your home. Because a quality steel motorised damper will offer quality and reliability. The motorised damper is also available in 24volt and 240volt in many different sizes
Return Air Grille
So with every ducted reverse cycle air conditioning uses a return air grille. The return air grille has a filter which filters all the air moving through your reverse cycle ducted system. We only sell Quality aluminium return air grilles. Because in my opinion they will outlast the place and will not fail.
